The only useful thing ive found about mass assault is the supply part which is useful for attacking low infrastructure regions. With the organization bonuses I max out on support companies and always have logistics and field hospital to lessen attrition and save some manpower to ensure i can get to the late game. All the added organization bonuses help with adding multiple support companies, and artillery gets some buffs for more soft attack. Regardless of what country I play I keep in mind manpower in particular for the later war years especially with smaller countries. I've yet to figure out decent use for the mass assault doctrine through =(Īgreed. Through the downside is getting attacked after you launch the offensive because you probably lost your entrenchment bonus and planning doesn't apply for defense 3 The Aftermath of Versailles (15 June 2020) Hoi4 templates hoi4 40 width tank division template, r/hoi4: A place to share content, ask questions and/or talk about the grand strategy game Hearts of Iron IV by Paradox. good for wars of attritionīattleplan one is great if you just plan to wait 2months of doing nothing before you rush in with extreme force (don't underestimate that 100+ planning bonus it can get scary if you let them build up that high) Germany Declares war on poland hoi4 Mask View size guide. Education 7 hours ago Best Division design Meta Ive seen a lot or discussions on her about 40 width 14/4 being better the 20 width 7/2 and I just want to know whats the conclusion come to which is better, and also does someone have a picture of what this division looks like. Since I usually don't have trouble winning the initial fight in Europe (since I can just retreat into low infra provinces with no penalty, meanwhile Germany is facing basically the same logistical nightmare it did IRL), I notice that the inevitable war in China (in every game the UK and Americans sends massive troops there via phillipines so it becomes a front every bit as large in scale as Barbarossa, but with even less infrastructure) and Africa and South America (where, thanks to the AI spamming naval bombers, it is necessary to establish a base in Guyana or something and slowly build it up and wear them down before the 80000 naval bombers they build insta-nuke any ship in range).
